The simplest start menu that can be realised is one that only requires the creation of touch fields and titles (text objects) to create the required access. In our example, though, we tried to create an appealing user interface. For this, an image was created in GIF format for the background of the page. Inserting graphics into the screen template.
Images with transparent background were created for the touch fields. These were then placed at the appropriate position and equipped with the required functions.
The titles of the touch fields were placed next to the respective touch field. Because the user interfaces was designed for multi-lingual operations, the titles were realised by means of text lists. These are an easy option to create texts in the programmed languages .
The next steps:
As a next step for creating a page for the action selection, a new page object must be created. For this, click on "Pages" and then press the short-cut "Ctrl" + "I".
•Enter a descriptive name for the page (in our case "OperationMenu".
•Define the page number (here: 1).
•If required, include the associated page template.
•Click on "OK" to create the page.
The Page Editor will now open. Now place the graphics inside the screen template. For instructions on how to integrate this into the page, see Inserting graphics into the screen template.
