Virtual keyboardKeyboard function

The keyboard is made up of several functional keypads. These can be displayed or hidden as required. You can also change the size of the keyboard. This functionality is assigned to the KEYBOARD control pad.

If the mouse cursor is moved across the keyboard icon or the virtual keyboard itself, the cursor changes from an arrow to a Mouse pointerdot Mauspunkt_15x15.

An activated key on the virtual keyboard will change colour from dark grey to light grey and will appear pressed.

A key activation therefore always happens in this way:

- key is activated (via touch)

- key colour changes to light grey

- the assigned function will be executed.

- key colour changes back to dark grey when key is released (touch is released)

Because it is not possible to activate two keys at the same time with the touch function (two spots on the touch screen touched at the same time), an alternative was created for the Caps, Shift, Ctrl and Alt keys and the Windows key.

If one of these control keys is touched, it is displayed as continuously activated (change of key colour to light grey) until another key has been touched. The exception to this rule is the Caps key, which retains its function until touched again.

The Windows key can be used in combination with another key in a Windows operating system or to open the start menu when activating it twice.

The Caps, Num and Scr keys are also equipped with an LED on the virtual keyboard that shows when the keys are activated.
