This page is used to define the settings for the X-axis. If you wish to show the X-axis in a diagram, the option DRAW must be selected. In addition, you can define the colour of the X-axis and the number of fractional digits. In the range Scaling different settings regarding the scaling of the axis can be made. The scaling is defined via constants or variables.

Axis

draw

Determines whether a scale is introduced for the x-axis.

Color

Specifies the colour in which

the X-axis is displayed.

Decimal points

Number of decimal points.

The number should be restricted to what is necessary.

Scale

Time

Specifies the system time

as a scale value.

The values for the X-axis scale are derived from the system time.

Numbers of values

The scaling values are derived

from the settings of the line values to be stored.

Specify the number of values to be recorded under the "Curve" tab in the Curve properties field.

changable

Allows the user to freely define the scale values.

You may specify the scale values via Constant Values or Variable Values.

upper scaling value

Type

Select Constant or Analog

Constant specifies a constant value for the upper scale value.

Analog The upper scale value is specified as the value of a variable. The scale can thus be adapted dynamically to the values recorded.

Value

Determines the value of the constant or the name of the variable.

By entering a value and selecting the type "Constant", the upper scale value can be specified directly.

By selecting the type "Constant" you may allocate a variable that determines the upper scale value.

upper scaling limit

Type

Select Constant or Analog

Constant specifies a constant value for the lower scale value.

Analog The lower scale value is specified as the value of a variable. The scale can thus be adapted dynamically to the values recorded.

Value

Determines the value of the constant or the name of the variable

By entering a value and selecting the type "Constant", the lower scale value can be specified directly.

By selecting the type "Constant" you may allocate a variable that determines the lower scale value.
