Touch fields are touch-sensitive "buttons" on the operator interface screen. By touching or releasing the touch field the programmed functions such as "Change page" or "Set Bit" are activated.

Touch fields of any size can be positioned anywhere on a screen page.

 

The toolbar is available to create input/output fields.

Click the symbol for a touch field in the Tools Toolbar.

 

The mouse pointer changes to the selected symbol.cursor_touchfeld

 

Position the object on the image.
Press and hold down the left mouse button and drag a field having the requested object size.
In the image, the field is marked with a frame and editing handles for modifying its size.

modifies the width of the selected object

ver_arrow

modifies the height of the selected object

45_arrow

modifies the height and width of the selected object

 

Release the left mouse button again.
The dialogue including the field properties for the text list is displayed.

Field

Type

Set value

A touch field can only be used as set value for running functions.

Name

Freely definable name for a touch field

Users can freely allocate any name to the touch fields.

If no name is allocated, see cicon2 invisible touch field

Group

Assigns a touch field to a group

Touch fields can be assigned to groups. This assignment improves the clarity of the project. Furthermore sorting and copying according to groups is possible.

Comment

Arbitrary comment for information purposes.

Information regarding the field can be entered in the comment field. Comments are used for explanation purposes in SPSPlusWIN.

Access restrictions

Allocation of access authority levels 0 to 9

Using the access authorization, inputs can be password-protected. Level 9 is the highest access authorization. Level 0 permits access to each user without entering a password.

Default function

none

No default function is used.

When selecting "None", it is not possible to enter or select default values in the function parameters.

Bit set

Selects Set Bit function.

The Function parameters dialogue allows users to create or select the digital variable in which the bit is to be set.

Bit switch

Selects Switch Bit function.

The window Function parameters allows to create or select the digital variable in which the bit is to be switched (toggled).

Bit erase

Selects Erase Bit function.

The window Function parameters allows to create or select the digital variable in which the bit is to be reset.

Page toggle

Selects the page change function

The window Function parameters is used to select the page which you wish to activate.
