The texts programmed in the Text lists are clearly allocated to a value or value range.

Text lists allow the indication of a text depending on a value in the variable (actual value). On the other hand, the assigned value can be entered into the variable (actual value) by preselecting a text. It is not possible and not allowed to combine both possibilities.

 

The displayed dialogue Basis of text list provides you with all information on the configured texts and the assigned values. Changes cannot be made in this dialogue.

 

There are two ways available to create image objects.

 

Tools toolbar:

•Click on the symbol for a text list in the cicon2 Tools toolbar.

 

The mouse pointer changes to the selected symbol. cursor_textliste_object

 

•Position the object on the image.
•Press and hold down the left mouse button and drag a field having the requested object size.
•In the image, the field is marked with a frame and editing handles for modifying its size.

modifies the height and width of the selected object

 

•Release the left mouse button again.
•The dialogue including the field properties for the text list is displayed.

A text list can only be used as actual value or as set / actual value.

Name

Name which can be selected freely for the text list

A text list can be used several times with the same properties, since the different displayed values are determined via the analog variable.

Comment

Arbitrary comment for information purposes.

Information regarding the field can be entered in the comment field. Comments are used for explanation purposes in SPSPlusWIN.

The value predefined for a  text list may only be a value of the analog variable type.

Name

Use this field to select or create the variable specifying the value for the bar chart.

The value of this variable is used for a text in the text list. When using the multiplexing function, the variable and the text list do not influence each other.

Process connection

Information on the programmed process connection

The displayed process connection provides information on the address used by the analog variable.
