User management ► Password management
In the password management users can create, edit and delete entries offline. With the upload function, an existing password list can be uploaded and edited.

Open the password management for an overview of all existing passwords, their levels and the time they were last edited.
Operation
New entry
|
Activates the input fields for creating a new user
|
Edit entry
|
Provides the selected entry in the input fields for editing
|
Delete entry
|
Deletes the selected entry.
|
Upload from .......
|
Opens the upload dialogue for uploading user data from the terminal, including the users created or modified in the terminal at some later date.
|
Apply data
|
Accepts new or edited data into the user management
|
Cancel data
|
Discards new or edited entries in the input fields without the data being accepted into the user management.
|
Input fields
User
|
Use this input field to enter or edit a new name (user).
|
Password
|
Use this input field to enter or edit a new password.
This input or edit must be verified in the dialogue that will automatically pop up.
|
Level
|
By choosing a level from this list you can allocate a level of access authority to a user or change an existing one.
|
Password administration context menu
When choosing a user with a right mouse click, this context menu will pop up.

Super User (on/off)
|
Defines this user as a Super User whose password never expired (only possible for users with level 9)
|
New entry
|
Activates the input fields for creating a new user
|
Edit entry
|
Provides the selected entry in the input fields for editing
|
Delete
|
Deletes the selected entry.
|
New before selection
|
Creates a new entry before the highlighted user.
|
New after selection
|
Creates a new entry after the highlighted user.
|
Entry at position 1
|
Moves an entry to the first position of the list.
|
Up
|
Moves an entry up by one position.
|
Down
|
Moves an entry down by one position.
|
Entry at end
|
Moves an entry to the last position of the list.
|
To edit a user, click on the "Edit entry" button.

Dialogue when creating or changing a password

Administrate date automatically.
By de-selecting the "Date set by default" check box date and time can be administrated manually and the system date is not entered automatically. As a help for selecting a date, a calendar will pop up when selecting the pull-down menu, where the user can select a date with a double-click of the left mouse key.
