A page can have several properties, which can be defined via the Dialogue Page properties. There are different ways to call up this dialogue.

 

Version 1)

In the Object explorer select the requested page.
Press the right mouse button.
The Context menu opens.
Select the menu item Properties.

Version 2)

 

In the Object explorer select the requested page.
Press the shortcut "Ctrl + Enter".
The dialogue containing the page properties opens.

 

Version 3)

 

Open the requested page.
Press the right mouse button.
The Context menu opens.
Select the menu item Properties.
The dialogue containing the page properties opens.

Version 4)

 

Open the requested page.
Open the menu Page in the menu bar.
Select the menu item Properties.
The Dialogue containing the page properties opens.

Name:

Page name which can be selected freely

 

Template

Assigns a planned page template as background.

 

Page no.:

A unique page number can be assigned to the planned page in this field.

It is only necessary to specify a page number, is you wish calling the pages using the PLC or if the PLC requires the information which screen page is actually displayed.

Background color:

Specifies the colour

of the page background.

After having clicked on the colour indicated in the box, the colour palette for selecting a new colour is displayed.

Group:

Assigns a screen page

to a group

Screen pages can be allocated to a group. This assignment improves the clarity of the project. Furthermore sorting and copying according to groups is possible.

Comment:

Arbitrary comment for information purposes.

Information regarding the page can be entered in the comment field. Comments are used for explanation purposes in SPSPlusWIN.
