Functions ► ET/MT-3x6, ET/MT-2x8 ► Falcon-Serie ► Write date and time into PLC
In the Falcon SERIES, the location for writing and reading date and time into the PLC is defined by indicating the addresses in the general specifications (report register). By setting bit 15 in the dynamic control word (start address of control words +04), the values specified for date and time (system time of operator interface) of the operator interface are transferred into the PLC registers. Date and time are transferred in BCD format. Data transfer is started by means of a positive edge alternation. The operator interface automatically resets the bit to "0". Setting the bit can either be done via the PLC or using the functions "Set analog variable" or "Set bit".
