A bar chart is used to present the value of a variable as rectangular surface which can be modified, i.e. the size of the bar varies proportionally to the variable value. This presentation is always used, when, apart from the exact value, a quantitative presentation of the process value is also required and useful and when the distance to the limit values is to be presented.

The tool bar is used to create bar charts.

When selecting this option, the multiplexing tab is displayed.

In this tab, all specifications for multiplexing variables can be determined and/or modified.

The value predefined for a  bar chart may only be a value of the analog variable type.

Use this field to select or create the variable specifying the value for the bar chart.

The value of this variable is shown via the bar chart. When using the multiplexing function, this variable does not influence the bar chart.
