Depending on the value of a variable, fields can be hidden (not visible) or flashing. Use the tab "Fade / Flash" to select and define this property.

Dlg_FadeFlashAttributes

The tab is used for specifying the properties of the conditions for fading / flashing.

Pct_ListObjBedingungen

<new>

Initialises the input fields for the input of more conditions.

Click on a condition to transfer the condition values to the input fields for editing.

Variable

Pct_VarTypSelect

Selection field for specifying the assignable variable types for the next field.

Analogue = The condition is assigned to a value of an analogue variable.

Digital = The condition is assigned to a value of a digital variable

Pct_VarSelectField

Selection field for the allocation of an already existing variable for application in the condition.

Btn_VarEigenschaften Opens the allocated variable or creates a new one.

Verknüpfung

Pct_OperatorSelect

Selection field for the operator of the connection type between condition 1 and condition 2.

&&

(AND)

=

The field is hidden when both conditions are met.

||

(ODER)

=

The field is hidden when one of the two conditions is met.

Bedingung 1 & 2

Operator

Selection field for the operator of the condition comparison

= =

equal, variable value equals the comparison value

! =

not equal, value does not equal the comparison value

<

smaller than, value is smaller than the comparison value

< =

smaller than / equals, value is smaller than or equals the comparison value

>

greater than, value is greater than the comparison value

> =

greater than / equals, value is greater than or equals the comparison value

Typ

Legt den Ursprung des Vergleichswert fest.

Constant

=

The comparison value is entered directly.

Analog

=

The comparison value originates from an analogue variable.

Digital

=

The comparison value originates from a digital variable.

Variable/Wert

Variable or value which is used as comparison value.

Btn_VarEigenschaften For type = analogue or digital, opens the allocated variable or creates a new one.

Modus

fade

The field is hidden, when the preset conditions are met.

flash

The field flashes when the preset conditions are met.

Example of a condition in the dialogue image:

Analog Variable_1 == 3 II Analog Variable_1 > 8

Using this condition the object is hidden, if the variable (Analog_1) has the value "3" or is greater than "8".

If the property "Flashing" is selected instead of "Hide", the field is hidden after 0.5 sec. and displayed again after another 0.5 sec. This flashing is repeated as long as the preset conditions are met. A rectangle having the field size of the background colour is displayed instead of the hidden object.

It is not possible to hide subsequent objects or to have them flash:

Dynamic objects as diagrams.

Static objects as bitmaps, texts, lines, rectangles, circles etc.

Hinweis

The dialogue settings have always priority over the definitions made on the basis page

and the extended colour attributes.

You can define several conditions under which the image object should be hidden or should flash.

For example, you can specify that the image object is hidden if the value is within the permitted range. Also, that it should be displayed if the value approaches a critical range and that it flashes when it is within the critical range. In this way the information shown can be restricted to a whatever is currently required and the visibility of the important values is improved.
