Page editor:

 

After creating or opening a page, template, help page or help template of a help page the comfortable page editor immediately opens in SPSPlusWIN.

Toolbars:


The toolbars are there so that frequently used functions can be called up by means of buttons. When positioning the mouse pointer on a button, short information on the respective function is displayed. The image depends on which toolbars are actually selected from the "View" menu item. By clicking on the left-hand margin of the toolbar and keeping the left mouse button pressed the toolbars can be positioned anywhere on the screen.

Project and Object

functions:


Contain various functions for creating projects, such as Create, Save and Open projects. Also contains functions for copying, inserting and cutting out objects.

Text attributes:


For the selection of languages and the current project as well as the font of an object.

Navigator:


Functions for page selection. With the four buttons on the left users can scroll through existing pages. The button on the right opens a complete overview of all existing pages.

Alignment tools:


Contains functions that allow users to position individual objects or to align several objects against each other or give them the same dimensions.

Tools:


This tool bar contains various functions for creating and designing pages. Users can insert or draw objects and specify the resolution of the page editor.

Page editor work space:


The page editor (area with grid) corresponds to the screen area of the selected target device. It is surrounded by a rectangular frame and contains a grid which can be displayed or hidden.

Output window:


The output window displays information as well as notes and error messages while a project is generated. These notes and messages during project generation are also recorded as text file (output.txt) in the project folder.

Status bar (framed in red):


The status bar contains status information. This information can be of various kinds and depends on what action is being taken. In our example, the status information concerns the features of a selected object.

X-coordinates:


Displays the x-coordinate of the selected object and/or the position of the mouse pointer.

Y-coordinates:        


Displays the y-coordinate of the selected object and/or the position of the mouse pointer.

Device type:


Displays the selected device type for which you are creating a project.
