Installation der Factory Software

If you need to re-install the factory software, proceed as follows:

In safe area:

•Switch off the device.

•If required, open the back cover.

•Stick the USB stick with the factory software into the X4 USB socket  (5x6 u. 5x8 only) or into the socket of the VB-USB-Plug cable.

•Switch on the device.

•The factory software will now be installed automatically.

In hazardous area  (xT-xx6 Series only):

•Switch off the device.

•Stick the intrinsically safe USBi stick with the factory software into the socket of the VB-USB-Plug cable which may be located on the outside of the device.

•Switch on the device.

•The factory software will now be installed automatically.

Once the installation has been completed, switch the device back off.
