Preparing the device

Calibrate Touch:

If the touch screen is not working properly within the application, you can re-calibrate it.

Devices with two monitors have a split touch calibration button.

Click on the left side for the first monitor and on the right side for the second monitor.

Starts the calibration for touchscreen 1.

After the calibration process has been started, the screen will turn to one colour.

•A An arrow with a dot pops up (1. top left, 2. top right, 3. centre (cross with dot), 4. bottom left, 5. bottom right). In older versions an "*" (asterisk) will appear on the screen four times in a row (1. top left, 2. top right, 3. bottom left, 4. bottom right).

•Tap exactly on the dot or the asterisk *. The touch screen is then re-calibrated and the system returns to the main menu. Alternatively, confirm the calibration by pressing the "CONFIRMbutton *1).

In case you tapped the wrong place during the calibration, it will be impossible to press the CONFIRM button.

In such a case, wait a few seconds until the calibration window closes on its own accord and then repeat the calibration by pressing the <F8> » TOUCH CALIB key. Press <F8> and the button for the calibration.

Backlight:

The button for adjusting the screen brighness

consists of two fields. Click on the left side to decrease and on the right side to increase screen brightness.

Click on the button to decrease brighness

by 10%.

Touchscreen Rightclick:

As a standard, a short touch of the touch screen is interpreted as a left mouse click. By using the two integrated right-click emulation processes, a right mouse click can also be simulated. A right mouse click emulation is initiated by a circle drawn around the area of touch. The right mouse click is triggered as soon as the circle is closed. Lifting the pen / finger off the screen before then will prevent the right mouse click from being triggered.
