As part of the definition of connection addresses you can define one as the start connection and any number of other addresses as fallback connections . If it is not possible to transfer data to the start connection, the system will attempt to transfer data to the fallback addresses in the order of their position in the address book.
This way, you can establish an automatic backup system, thereby greatly increasing the system availability.

A fallback connection remains active until it fails or until you disrupt and re-establish the connection in the (Operator Menu ⇩) by pressing F3.
If a fallback connection fails, the system re-enters the connection cycle, starting with the start connection, and establishes a connection with the first available address.
