The RS232 interface of the devices is provided at terminals 9-13 at the X2 and X3 terminal blocks. The interface is a type DTE interface. The signals have the following meaning:

Data/Out - the data is sent from here.

Data/In, this is where the data is received.

RTS

Request to send, transmission request from DTE to DCE, Signals to the DCE that the DTE wishes to send data

CTS

Clear to send, DCE ready to receive. ready to receive. Signals that the DCE can receive data from the DTE.

GND

Ground, equipotential bonding
