Open the page in the project where you want to show the output of the card reader.

Generate an output field *1.

Allocate the type "Actual value" to the field.

Select "Hexa-decimal" as the display type.

In the "Variable" group field (right), select "Analogue"

Select the variable that you created under 6 to 8   in the previous chapter.

Close this dialogue by clicking on "OK".

 

Output format Stahl numbers (00001-0008):

Output format CSN numbers (7ED1E6FC):

In the "Variable" group field (right), select "string"

Click on Symbl_NewVar to open the dialogue for creating an analogue variable.

 

The dialogue for creating an analogue variable will pop up.

Select operating type "4 Automatic".

Specify variable type "Unassigned Long Integer".

Click on "Process connection".

The process connection dialogue will pop up.

 

Dlg_StringVarPcvCrdRdr

 

Select the protocol driver created in step 1.

Accept the other settings by clicking on "Ok".

 

Close this dialogue by clicking on "OK".

 

Output format Stahl numbers (00001-0008):

1  8

Output format CSN numbers (7ED1E6FC):

7ED1E6FC

 

Close the field properties dialogue by clicking on "Ok".

 

 

Hinweis

If you want to use the card readers together with the user administration for access control, we recommend you define the hex value of each card instead of user names, and that the log-in is verified by a password.
