The cable connection for the PCRi Mifare reader has a terminal connection at both ends. A four-stranded cable is used for this.

 

Hinweis

The cable between HMI and Mifare reader must NOT be longer than 2 metres!

•Contacts 3, 4 and 6 of the Mifare reader are internally bridged (GND).

•The terminals 1(2), 4, 7 and 8 of the X8 reader interface are not used and have no assignment.

•The PCRi Mifare reader interface parameters (default settings) are:

8 data bits

1 stop bit

No parity

9600 baud

Please make sure that these reader interface parameters match the settings of the software that receives the scanner data.

If this is not the case, you need to change them. **
