The Remote HMI station is connected to the KVM transmission unit via an Ethernet connection which can consist of copper (Tx) or optical fibre (MM / SM) - depending on the version ordered.

The wire pairs must be twisted right up to the terminals of the 6x7 HMI device !

Keep the cable wires as short as possible.
|

Ensure that the shielding of the cable covers a wide area.

The LEDs for the state of the data connection of the Ethernet copper connection are located at the RJ45 socket.

Ethernet Fx-Connection ET / MT-6x7:
The DVI3-KVM-Units equipotential bonding (treaded bolt on back side) must be connected to the equipotential bonding.

3 = Zooth lockwashers
4 = Nut
5 = Washer spring
6 = PE Threaded bolt
7 = Cable lug with eye
