Since September 2011, the ET/MT-xx7 series has been fitted with an Ex-e stereo input/output for the connection of external audio signal sources or audio output devices to the displays.

For devices with sound option (xT-4x7-...-snd-...)
this is where both loudspeakers are connected (see X105, Audio Out) !

These audio devices must be of protection class Ex-nA "non-sparking".
|
A screened audio cable must be used to connect the input / output.

|
We recommend the individual wires of the audio cable be fitted with core end sleeves.
|

The individual signal wires
should have their own shielding.
