Since September 2011, the ET/MT-xx7 series has been fitted with an Ex-e stereo input/output for the connection of external audio signal sources or audio output devices to the displays.

 

Hinweis

For devices with sound option (xT-4x7-...-snd-...)

this is where both loudspeakers are connected (see cicon2 X105, Audio Out) !

 

Warnhinweis

These audio devices must be of protection class Ex-nA "non-sparking".

 

A screened audio cable must be used to connect the input / output.

 

Hinweis

We recommend the individual wires of the audio cable be fitted with core end sleeves.

 

Hinweis

The individual signal wires

should have their own shielding.

Measures for the suppression of ground loops:

a)Separate ground wire (GND)

b)Shielding single-sided at the audio output device.
