X7 with the RS-485 version:

The RS-485 (today: EIA-485) provides a data transfer interface with differentiated signals. Please note that the RS-485 bus is a bi-directional interface. This means, the interface sends and receives data at the same port. Connected devices therefore have to ensure communication can take place.

The maximum length of the data transmission cable is 1000m.

Die PIN-Belegung der Gegenstelle ist der Schnittstellenbeschreibung des Herstellers entnehmen.

Kabeltyp:

Datenleitung mindestens UTP [unshielded twisted pair] in rauher Umgebung STP [shielded twisted pair]

Konfiguration des Ports (Geräte der 1. Generation):

•Öffnen Sie den "Diag Manager".

•Wählen Sie "E-Box Settings".

•Klicken Sie auf den DropDown-Button am rechten Rand.

a)Wählen Sie den Eintrag "RS422" für einen Anschluss ohne Abschlusswiderstand aus.

b)Wählen Sie den Eintrag "RS422 Rx terminated" für einen Abschlusswiderstand aus.

Die Einstellungen "RS-485" und "RS-485 terminated"

sind technisch bedingt hier noch nicht möglich !
