Handheld:

The wired handheld scanner is connected to the VB-IDM160-XX6-RS232-SR-* connection cable by inserting the RJ45 plug into the corresponding socket until you can hear a "click". Then check that the cable is firmly connected.

Base loading station:

Hinweis

Before screwing the base loading station onto the (field) enclosure, the VB-IDM160-Base-RSi-RS232-SR-*.8m-Z1 connection cable must be inserted into the opening on the underside of the base loading station.

 

1.The plug must engage audibly.

2.Clamp the connection cable into the cable bushing.

If the X1 terminals are already being used by the optional hard disk, the power supply must be connected in an Ex-certified terminal box outside of the HMI..

 

If there is no internal hard disk and other devices are to be supplied with 24 VDC, the optional X12 terminal block can be used to distribute the supply voltage.

Hinweis

Because Ex-e and Ex-i signal circuits must not be connected at the same time, any free terminals may only have Ex-e signal circuits connected !
